Western Michigan Walk for Apraxia

Why we walk for Apraxia Kids!

Why We Walk

At Ivy Rehab for Kids, we walk to celebrate and support children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech and the families who cheer them on every step of the way.

As pediatric therapists, we have the privilege of seeing firsthand the determination, hard work, and courage it can take for a child with apraxia to find their voice. We also see the incredible dedication of their families, who advocate, practice, encourage, and celebrate every new sound and word along the way.

We walk to raise awareness of Childhood Apraxia of Speech, to support continued education and research, and most importantly, to remind every child and family affected by apraxia that they are not walking this journey alone.

We walk for their voices, their victories, and every step of progress in between.

We would love for you to join us in supporting this important cause. You can make a donation to the Ivy Rehab for Kids West Michigan Team, join our team and walk alongside us, or help spread awareness by sharing our page with others. Every contribution—whether through walking, giving, or sharing—helps us stand behind children with apraxia and the families supporting them every step of the way.
