Greater Atlanta Walk for Apraxia

Why I walk for Apraxia Kids!

Hi! I’m AJ, and I’m an Apraxia Star! ⭐️

I have a lot to say, and I have so many things I want to tell you. Sometimes, though, getting the words out is really hard for me. I have childhood apraxia of speech, which means my brain and my mouth have to work extra hard together to make the sounds and words I want to say.

I work really hard every day to find my voice. I’m learning new sounds, new words, and new ways to communicate. My family is there cheering me on every step of the way. ❤️

I’m walking for Apraxia Kids to help other kids like me feel supported, understood, and never alone. I hope that one day, every child with apraxia has the tools and support they need to communicate and be heard.

Every child deserves a voice. And every voice deserves to be heard!

Thank you for supporting me and all of my Apraxia Stars!
