Team Jules

We walk because Jules gets recognized and celebrated for all her hard work at this event and I love to see her acknowledged for all of her effort, for the annoying part of driving an hour (or more) each way to speech three days a week, and the tenacity with which she keeps working.

We walk to raise money for Apraxia Kids because they are not only moving apraxia research and training along, but they are an invaluable resource for parents and the first place I got my bearings when Jules was diagnosed. It's also how I found our SLP who we absolutely love and can't imagine going through this without. 

Lastly, we walk because I enjoy making Beckett wear a shirt with gold sparkles to support his sister, who supports him all year long at the thousands of sports he plays.
