Long Island Walk for Apraxia

Why I walk for Apraxia Kids!

Teddy’s Apraxia Journey

Teddy was diagnosed with Childhood Apraxia of Speech at just 2½ years old. Since then, he has spent the past 10 years working incredibly hard through speech therapy, attending sessions four to five times a week. His journey has not always been easy, but his determination and perseverance have been remarkable.

Over the years, Teddy has made tremendous progress. He has worked tirelessly to strengthen his speech, find his voice, and communicate with the people around him. While he has come so far, he continues to work every day to be understood even more clearly.

Teddy’s journey is a reminder that progress doesn't always happen quickly, but every step forward matters. We are incredibly proud of how hard he works, how far he has come, and the strength he shows every single day.
