Why we walk for Apraxia Kids!
We walk to support our friend Valley!!!
Valley was diagnosed with childhood apraxia of speech and autism around age 8. At that time, she was non-speaking, and the journey to find the right support was not easy. We worked with four different speech-language pathologists before finally connecting with one who was specifically trained in apraxia.
That change made all the difference.
Within just a few short months of starting with the right support, Valley began to speak. Now, two years into her therapy journey, she is fully speaking and continues to learn and grow every day. Her progress has been incredible, and we are so proud of her determination and strength.
We walk to support Valley, to raise awareness, and to help other families find the resources and hope they need on their own journeys.
Please help us meet our fundraising goal by making a donation!
