Why I walk for Apraxia Kids!

I walk to support all children diagnosed with apraxia of speech - our Apraxia Stars. To show these children they are not alone and to acknowledge all the hard work they must do to overcome communication challenges that affect their day-to-day lives.

I walk to raise funds for the mission of Apraxia Kids – to strengthen the support systems in the lives of children with apraxia of speech by educating professionals and families; facilitating community engagement and outreach; and investing in the future through advocacy and research.

Hi family and friends! We’re just about 2 weeks out from the Walk for Apraxia, and I just wanted to take a minute amidst the craziness to say thank you. 
It goes without saying (obviously I’m still going to) that Geoff, Daphne, Matilda, and I appreciate your participation and support so very deeply.
But I want to also thank you for contributing to the overall cause that is so near and dear to our hearts, and remind you that you are helping hundreds of kids across the country to build speech skills and confidence, and for their families access the resources that they need. And that’s nothing to sneeze at.
