Why I walk for Apraxia Kids!
I walk to support all children diagnosed with apraxia of speech - our Apraxia Stars. To show these children they are not alone and to acknowledge all the hard work they must do to overcome communication challenges that affect their day-to-day lives.I walk to raise funds for the mission of Apraxia Kids – to strengthen the support systems in the lives of children with apraxia of speech by educating professionals and families; facilitating community engagement and outreach; and investing in the future through advocacy and research.
Please help me meet my fundraising goal by making a donation now or by joining our team. You, too, can make an impact for children and families affected by apraxia!
I believe, “Every child deserves a voice”.

Team Ryett!
Saturday 18th JulMy family is committing to walking to bring awareness to Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). As some of you know, Ryett was diagnosed a few years ago, and that's why this cause is so important to me.
I have seen him have breakdown after breakdown because he's trying so hard to communicate something that we simply cannot understand. With CAS, Ryett knows exactly what he wants to say and thinks he's saying it properly, but his brain and the muscles needed for speech aren't communicating the way they should.
This has been a long battle for him, but it's one l know he will continue to push through like he always has. He amazes me every day with his determination and resilience.
This walk is all for my little guy! 💙
