Why I walk for Apraxia Kids!
I walk to support all children diagnosed with apraxia of speech - our Apraxia Stars. To show these children they are not alone and to acknowledge all the hard work they must do to overcome communication challenges that affect their day-to-day lives.I walk to raise funds for the mission of Apraxia Kids – to strengthen the support systems in the lives of children with apraxia of speech by educating professionals and families; facilitating community engagement and outreach; and investing in the future through advocacy and research.
Please help me meet my fundraising goal by making a donation now or by joining our team. You, too, can make an impact for children and families affected by apraxia!
I believe, “Every child deserves a voice”.

Thursday 24th SepWelcome to our Walk for Apraxia team page!
This year, we are walking, web-slinging, and making waves for our favorite little superhero. Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) means that the brain struggles to tell the muscles of the mouth how to move to make sounds. Every single word requires intense concentration, coordination, and hours of hard work.
But just like Spider-Man, our hero faces every challenge with incredible bravery. They remind us every day that with great strength comes great speech!
We are raising funds for Apraxia Kids to help provide training, research, and tablets for speech devices to families who need them. Every donation, big or small, helps unlock a child's voice.
Thank you for being part of our "Amazing Spider-Friends" squad and helping us celebrate our favorite Apraxia Star!
