Why I walk for Apraxia Kids!
I walk for the children who have so much to say and are working incredibly hard to find their voice. I walk for the families who celebrate every new sound, word, and moment of connection, and for the children who use AAC, speech-generating devices, and other communication tools to make sure their voices can be heard.As an SLP, I’m honored to walk alongside these children as they build communication, confidence, and independence, in whatever way works best for them. I walk for every child with apraxia, and for a future where every child has the support, tools, and opportunity to be heard.
