Why I walk for Apraxia Kids!
Jack has worked incredibly hard to find his voice. Diagnosed with Childhood Apraxia of Speech, something most people have never even heard of until it touches their family, he has spent years doing what comes naturally to so many of us: learning how to make his mouth say the words already in his head. Every word, every sentence, and every milestone has come with determination, countless hours of therapy, and a whole lot of courage. We’re walking and raising money for Apraxia Kids because every child deserves the opportunity to be heard, understood, and supported. The resources, education, advocacy, and community they provide help families like ours navigate a diagnosis that can feel overwhelming and make sure kids like Jack have people fighting for their voices right alongside them. We are so proud of how far Jack has come, and we’re walking for him, for every word he has fought for, and for every child still working to find their voice. My Achievements
