Why I walk for Apraxia Kids!
We’re walking for Giannis! He has childhood apraxia of speech. Things that come so naturally to many children finding the words, saying what you feel, being understood can take so much effort for him. Yet every day, he keeps trying.
Every word he says is a victory. Every new sound, every attempt to communicate, and every little bit of progress means the world to us. We’re walking to raise awareness, support children like GG, and most importantly, to let him know that no matter how hard finding his voice may be, he will never have to find it alone.
We are so incredibly proud of our boy and the strength he shows every single day. This walk is for him.
