Western New York Walk for Apraxia

Why I walk for Apraxia Kids!

Meet Remi - Our bold, sassy, and endlessly determined 6 year old. She was diagnosed with two rare chromosome disorders and a global developmental delay that impacts her speech. Despite all of these challenges, Remi continues to amaze us with her strength resilience, and infectious smile that lights up a room. Every word she learns, every new sound she makes, is a hard-won victory - and a reminder of just how much she is capable of.

I walk for Remi.
I walk for every child like her - our brave Apraxia Stars - who work so incredibly hard every single day to find their voice. These children face immense communication challenges, and yet they push forward with so much courage and determination that inspires everyone around them.

I walk to raise awareness and funds for Apraxia Kids, an organization that has become close to our hearts. Their mission is to empower families like ours by educating professionals, connecting communities, and investing in research and advocacy to ensure every child with apraxia gets the support they deserve.

Please join me - whether you make a donation or walk beside us, you will be helping children like Remi feel seen, supported, and celebrated. Together we can make a real impact.

Every child deserves a voice.
