Why I walk for Apraxia Kids!
I walk because I want Gavin and Emery to know that they are not alone, their voices matter, and their words are worth fighting for.
As a parent of children with childhood apraxia of speech, I’ve seen the challenges that come with finding their voices and being understood. But I’ve also seen their strength, determination, and incredible progress.
I walk to raise awareness and funds for Apraxia Kids, an amazing organization that has made such a difference for our family. Their national conferences have connected us with valuable resources, knowledge, and—perhaps most importantly—other families who understand our journey. They have reminded us that we are not alone.
