Baltimore Walk for Apraxia

Why I walk for Apraxia Kids!

Hi, I’m walking for something really important to me 💙

I have apraxia of speech, which means talking can be really hard. Sometimes the words in my brain don’t come out the way I want them to. I have to work extra hard every day to practice sounds, words, and sentences—but I don’t give up.

I’m walking to support all kids like me—our Apraxia Stars ⭐—to show them they are not alone. We are strong, we are मेहनती (hardworking), and we all deserve to be heard.

This year, my goal is to raise $345 to help three speech-language pathologists (SLPs) in Anne Arundel County attend the National Apraxia Conference virtually in July 2026. When therapists learn more, they can help kids like me find our voices faster and stronger.

I’m also walking to support the mission of Apraxia Kids—to help families, teach professionals, build community, and keep working toward better treatments and understanding.

Please help me reach my goal by donating or joining my team. Every little bit helps kids like me be heard.

Because I believe… every child deserves a voice 💙
