About Us
Many of our close friends and family know that this year our son, Ellison, was diagnosed with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). While receiving this diagnosis was emotional, we are incredibly grateful to finally have answers and a path forward to help him find his voice.
The journey to this point has been long and challenging, and we know there is still a long road ahead. Ellison currently attends intensive speech therapy multiple times each week, and we couldn’t do it without the love and support of our village. We are so thankful for everyone who helps with appointments, encourages him, and practices speech with him at home.
This year, I’m participating in the Walk for Apraxia to help raise money for children and families affected by Childhood Apraxia of Speech. If you’re able, please consider making a donation to support this incredible cause. Every single dollar makes a huge difference and helps provide resources, research, education, and hope for families like ours.
Thank you for supporting Ellison and so many other children working hard to find their voices. ❤️

Why I walk for Apraxia Kids!
I walk to support all children diagnosed with apraxia of speech - our Apraxia Stars. To show these children they are not alone and to acknowledge all the hard work they must do to overcome communication challenges that affect their day-to-day lives.I walk to raise funds for the mission of Apraxia Kids – to strengthen the support systems in the lives of children with apraxia of speech by educating professionals and families; facilitating community engagement and outreach; and investing in the future through advocacy and research.
Please help me meet my fundraising goal by making a donation now or by joining our team. You, too, can make an impact for children and families affected by apraxia!
I believe, “Every child deserves a voice”.
