Why I walk for Apraxia Kids!
💙 Hi, I’m Conrad! 💙
I’m a happy, determined little boy with Childhood Apraxia of Speech, which makes it hard for me to say the words I’m thinking. I work really hard in speech therapy to learn new sounds and words, one at a time.
I’m walking in the Apraxia Walk 2026 with my team, Conrad’s Speech Squad, to help kids like me find their voices.
Every child deserves a voice. Thank you for helping me unlock mine 💙

Wednesday 29th AprHi, I’m Conrad 💙
I’m 4 years old, and I have Childhood Apraxia of Speech. That means sometimes the words in my head don’t come out the way I want them to. My brain and my mouth have a hard time working together, so talking can be really tough for me.
But I have a LOT to say.
I work really hard in speech therapy to learn how to use my voice. Some days are harder than others, but I keep trying—and every little word I say is a big win for me.
When you support the Apraxia Kids Walk, you’re helping kids like me get the therapy, tools, and support we need to find our voices. You’re helping people understand kids like me a little better, too.
Thank you for cheering me on and helping me speak my superpowers into the world.
Love,
Conrad 💙
