Twin Cities Walk for Apraxia

Why I walk for Apraxia Kids!

We are so proud to be walking as Aiden’s grandparents.

When Aiden was diagnosed with childhood apraxia of speech at just 2 years old, we knew he had a challenging road ahead. Since then, we’ve had the privilege of watching him face every obstacle with determination, courage, and the biggest smile.

Today, Aiden is almost 5 years old, and every word he speaks is a testament to his hard work. We have seen firsthand the countless hours of speech therapy, practice, and perseverance it has taken for him to find his voice. He inspires us every single day.

We’re walking not only to celebrate Aiden and all he has accomplished, but also to raise awareness for childhood apraxia of speech and to support other children and families on this journey. We are grateful that Aiden received an early diagnosis and the therapy he needed to thrive, and we hope every child has the same opportunity.

Please consider supporting our walk with a donation or by helping spread awareness. Every contribution helps provide education, advocacy, research, and resources for children with apraxia and their families.

Thank you for supporting our incredible grandson and all the brave children finding their voices.

Every child deserves a voice. 💙
