Why we walk for Apraxia Kids!
We walk for Landon. 💙
Shortly after Landon started talking, he was diagnosed with apraxia. Thankfully, his incredible speech therapist recognized it early, allowing us to be proactive and start therapy right away. We’ve watched him work so hard and come such a long way, and today, you can barely tell he ever struggled.
But we don’t walk just for Landon. We walk for all the children and families navigating apraxia and the challenges that come with it. We walk to support the kids who work a little harder for things that come naturally to others, and to remind them that they are never alone.
Most of all, we walk for every child who was born with something they didn’t choose and cannot control, yet continues to show us just how strong, special, and perfectly made they are.
We are so proud to walk alongside our son and cheer him on every step of the way. 💙
