Why I walk for Apraxia Kids!

For the past few years, I've been involved with the Apraxia Walk because I have the privilege of working with some of the most determined, resilient children I know—children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS).

As their speech-language pathologist, I see firsthand the incredible effort it takes for these children to learn to communicate. Every sound, every word, and every conversation is the result of hard work, perseverance, and unwavering support from their families. They inspire me every single day.

This year, I'd love for our Building Blocks families to join my team! Whether you walk alongside us, make a donation, or simply help spread awareness, you'll be making a meaningful difference for children with CAS and the families who love them.

Funds raised support the mission of Apraxia Kids by providing education for families and professionals, advancing research, advocating for children with CAS, and building stronger support systems for those affected by this diagnosis.
