Quinn’s Word Warriors

Cleveland Walk for Apraxia

Why I walk for Apraxia Kids!

I’m walking for my son, Quinn, and for every child living with childhood apraxia of speech.

Apraxia means Quinn knows what he wants to say, but his brain has trouble telling his mouth how to say it. Every word takes practice, patience, and an incredible amount of hard work. The things many of us take for granted—saying a word, asking a question, sharing a thought—are milestones that Quinn works tirelessly to achieve.

I walk to celebrate his determination and to support all of the amazing Apraxia Stars who are working so hard to find their voices. These children show strength and perseverance every single day.

I’m also walking to raise funds for Apraxia Kids, an organization dedicated to supporting children with apraxia and their families through education, advocacy, community, and research. Their work helps provide the resources and support that families like ours rely on.

If you are able, please consider making a donation or joining our team. Your support helps create more awareness, more resources, and more hope for children with apraxia and their families.

Because I truly believe every child deserves a voice.
