Westchester Walk for Apraxia

Why I walk for Apraxia Kids!

I participate in the Apraxia Walk to proudly identify as the parent of a child with apraxia, advocate for greater understanding and language accommodations, and show my daughter what self-love, self-acceptance, and belonging look like. She deserves to grow up in a community that understands, supports, and respects her language difference. Every step we take helps build a more inclusive world where she—and others like her—can be seen, heard, and valued.
