Litty and the Unicorn Squad: Walking for Apraxia

Litty is our sweet, determined 4-year-old who has Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). After a long time wondering why she was struggling to communicate, she was finally diagnosed almost a year ago.

Since then, she has worked incredibly hard in speech therapy 4–5 days a week. We have watched her make amazing progress, and she is now so much more easily understood. We couldn't be prouder of her!

When Litty was diagnosed, Apraxia Kids was an invaluable resource for our family. Their information helped us understand CAS and learn how to advocate for and support our daughter.

We're walking as Litty and the Unicorn Squad to help make those same resources available to other apraxia families.
