GYF Walks for Apraxia

Pittsburgh Walk for Apraxia

Why I walk for Apraxia Kids!

I walk to support all children diagnosed with apraxia of speech, our incredible Apraxia Stars. Every day, these children work tirelessly to overcome communication challenges that impact their lives, and this walk is a way to show them they are seen, celebrated, and never alone.

Since joining the Apraxia Kids Board of Directors in 2019, I have had the privilege of meeting so many inspiring children and families. Their resilience, determination, and unwavering hope have deeply impacted me and continue to fuel my commitment to this mission. It is truly an honor to walk alongside them, both literally and figuratively.

I walk to raise funds for Apraxia Kids and its vital mission: strengthening support systems for children with apraxia by educating professionals and families, fostering meaningful community connections, and investing in the future through advocacy and research.

Please consider helping me reach my fundraising goal by making a donation or joining our team. Your support makes a real and lasting difference for children and families navigating apraxia.

I believe, now more than ever, that every child deserves a voice and together, we can help make that a reality.
