Jackson's Journey

New Hampshire Walk for Apraxia

Why I walk for Apraxia Kids!

We walk for Jackson — our funny, determined, and incredibly hard-working 5-year-old son who has childhood apraxia of speech. Every word he says has come through persistence, practice, and courage. Apraxia affects his ability to plan and coordinate the movements needed for speech, making communication much more difficult than most people realize.

We participate in the Apraxia Kids walk to raise awareness, support families like ours, and help provide resources, research, and hope for children with apraxia. Jackson works so hard every single day to make his voice heard, and we walk to celebrate his progress, advocate for understanding, and remind him that he is never walking this journey alone.

Thank you for supporting Jackson and all children finding their voices.
