I've created this page because I want to make a difference.
My Apraxia Star was diagnosed at 3.5 years old and has been on the upswing ever since. Over the last 18 months he has worked hard with a functional neurologist and at 5 he is finally saying words like most regular children. Apraxia means a frustrated child and a mom who has to pay charades daily. Connor loves all things DINOs and garbage trucks and also loves going to school. He is an amazing and brilliant boy who is finally starting to be able to express himself. This Apraxia Month I am raising money for Apraxia Kids to help other children get the help they need to thrive! I am also trying to raise awareness of the specific speech impairment that is Apraxia and how it differs from all other speech issues.
