Team Captain of the Largest Race Team - Rally your family, friends, and network to join your team! The team captain with the most registered participants by 2/28/2026 will win! (1 winner)
Submit & Win Raffle - Submit your race results by 2/28/2026 to be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a prize. You only need to submit your race time once to be entered into the raffle, but you may update your fitness activity as often as you like. (2 winners)
Most Ongoing Race Miles - Each time you submit an update to your fitness activity, your activity is logged and added for an overall total of miles. Racing 5K (3.1 mile) is the goal, but the racer with the most overall miles from now to 2/28/2026 will win! (1 winner)

What is the Apraxia Kids 5K Voice Venture?
The Apraxia Kids 5K Voice Venture is a virtual race for all to join. This is a fun event to challenge yourself while raising awareness about childhood apraxia of speech and funds for Apraxia Kids.
Do I have to run?
No. You can race at your pace and level. The goal is to challenge yourself and finish while raising awareness about childhood apraxia of speech. So, walk, jog, or run - the choice is yours!
Who can race?
All Skill Levels of walkers, joggers, and runners are encouraged and welcome.
Where do we race?
At a location most comfortable and safesst for you. Some suggestions include a treadmill, a local park, in your neighborhood, or on a city sidewalk.
Can I earn a t-shirt by fundraising $50?
No. You must register at the $50 level to earn the official race t-shirt. Shirts are shipped weekly (U.S. only) and may not reach your destination before you complete your personal race. If you do not want the shirt, you may register for free.
Why should I register at the $50 level?
This 5K Voice Venture t-shirt is a great tool to raise awareness all year long. It can be a conversation starter and a way to proudly showcase your accomplishment.
I live outside the U.S., can I participate?
Yes, you can participate in the 5K Voice Venture. Use the FREE registration to join us.
I live outside the U.S., can I receive an official 5K Voice Venture t-shirt?
No. Due to costs of shipping, we cannot ship the official 5K Voice Venture t-shirt outside the U.S. Sorry for any inconvenience. We encourage our international community members to join us by seleting the FREE option to register.
Can I win a prize?
Yes! Prizes will be awarded for the following categories. Prizes include Apraxia Kids swag.
-The top two individuals who raise the most funds using their online fundraising page will win a prize.
-The oldest and youngest registered participants will win a prize. Participants need to be able to physically race themselves (infants cannot win).
-The team captain of the largest team will win a prize. Rally your friends to join you by signing up as a part of your team.
-All racers who submit their race results by logging into their participant center will be placed in a drawing to win a prize.
